Friday Foto Follies: Rome

This week’s Follies honor Rome, which according to myth was “founded” by Romulus and his twin brother, Remus who (sort of) ran into it on the site where they were suckled by a she-wolf as orphaned infants.  In actuality (for argument’s sake) the date of its founding was set by the Roman scholar Marcus Terentius Varro in the first century B.C.  That date is April 21, 753 B.C.
