Robert Mitchum just had a face that fits in every direction,with the husky kind of voice he was destined to become a Hollywood actor at the least .With some good fortune and good acting he got some clever on screen roles to act out and did a real good job of it.Was it him who did the original Cape Fear and the haunting movie when he acted as a preacher trying all ways to get to a doll,held tightly by a very scared little girl and her older brother.I was just a kid when I watched this film and always remembered him whistling his little haunting tune.In black and white as most or just about all the movies were in those days.Just fantastic!
