The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
4,329 films were submitted to the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. This blog had 55,000 views in 2012. If each view were a film, this blog would power 13 Film Festivals
Wow, I couldn’t imagine that I was a top contributor in comments! But you sure deserve: this blog is amazing, Keep with the good job in 2013!
Yes! You’ve been so supportive and I’ve enjoyed reading all your comments. I also enjoy your blog immensely but always encounter problems submitting comments.
Thanks so much, Le – wishing you all the best in 2013!

I don’t even know what to say, Sarah, except to thank you once again. Oh, AND I bet I’m happier you found Once Upon A Screen than you are. 😉 You’ve been so generous and supportive with your posts.
It’s been so much fun, I can’t even tell you! 🙂
Aurora, I’ve left Once Upon a Screen an award here: http://itssarahsplace.com/2013/01/02/award-thanks-and-love-for-my-vote-for-2012-blog-of-the-year-once-upon-a-screen/
I don’t usually do awards, but this one really fit how I feel about this blog, so it had to be done 🙂 If you want to participate in all the rules and things that go with it, let me know, I’ll pass on the link to you. You can download the badge from my post.
This is a really impressive report! Congrats on a wonderful blogging year. 🙂
Thanks much! I was happy with this report but am fairly clueless about whether it’s good or not since it’s my first year and I’ve nothing to compare it to. It’s been so much fun though.
And thanks, R.A. for all your support!
What an achievement for 2012, Aurora! Congratulations — it sounds wonderful to me!
Thanks, Becky! It’s very exciting although I’m unsure how to gauge it for my first year. I can say it’s way more than I ever imagined. So much for such fun!
