A happy anniversary…Once Upon a Screen

Another Thin Man

Lo and behold Once Upon a Screen turns one year old!

I’ve been congratulating several bloggers, some of my favorites, as they’ve celebrated momentous milestones on their blogs of late all the while regretting I didn’t make note of when I started Once Upon a Screen.  Unfortunately, I’m not that organized.  Then today, I received a lovely congratulations on the page’s one year anniversary from the wonderful folks at WordPress.  Whoever you are – thanks!  Needless to say that means I can’t let this day go by without some kind of mention, a tribute to the many reasons I started this blog – for myself and…

For the laughter…

for the class…

for the tears…

for the romance…

for the memories…

for the talent…

for the sex appeal…

for the heart…

for the fun…

for the style…

for the mystery…

for the wonder…

for the miracle…

and for the look…

For ALL that is classic film and what it is in me.

A heartfelt note to all those who have stopped in for a look and a read.  I am truly grateful.

  3. An anniversary of writing a blog and keeping up the quality and interest is something to be really proud of. I’ve been enjoying getting to know you better lately, and I’ll be around here too. Oh, and something tells me you kind of like Cary Grant – LOL! Wonderful pictorial. Congratulations!
